Therapist Short Bio

I am an experienced, professionally qualified and BACP registered Counsellor. I hope to be able to offer you a safe, confidential environment that can support you to explore areas within your life that are troubling you, thus promoting awareness and personal resilience. I understand that sometimes there is not always an answer to every problem and sometimes it is simply about taking the journey with another person that actually makes the difference.

Therapist Long Bio

I am an experienced, professionally qualified and BACP registered Counsellor. I hope to be able to offer you a safe, confidential environment that can support you to explore areas within your life that are troubling you, thus promoting awareness and personal resilience.

I understand that sometimes there is not always an answer to every problem and sometimes it is simply about taking the journey with another person that actually makes the difference.

Counselling is not an easy option it takes courage and strength. It helps us think about things in a different light and from a different perspective. Hopefully it helps us to find a way to move forward with changes and find new strategies to help face future challenges.

I am passionate about talking therapies and self-exploration and believe the success or failure of any therapy is very much dependent upon the skills of the practitioner providing safe frameworks. I truly believe we all have ability to find our way given the time, right conditions and support.

As an Integrative Therapist I will adapt and tailor my approach to suit you and your individual needs, be it long or short term. A non-judgmental approach and empathy are at the centre of my practice and the development of our relationship.

If this is your first experience of therapy I am happy to talk through the different approaches, should you wish to chat about it before booking. I have a friendly manner, but know it is sometimes easier to speak to and experience a person on the phone before deciding if they are the right Counsellor for you.
