What is EFA?

This unique Emotional first aid service will generate actual online sessions at times to suit you!

What is Emotional First Aid (EFA)?

+ We have developed a fully integrated online therapy portal that requires no external technology.  EFA is run through Therapy Finders online video streaming system or live messaging technology, allowing people in urgent need of support to access therapy immediately.

+ EFA is designed for those times when a person just needs to talk about something that is causing anxiety or an inability to cope in that moment.

+ EFA could mean the difference between someone spiralling into unmanageable anxiety or getting the immediate support that enables them to progress positively through their day.

+ As a qualified therapist you will provide a professional, 45 minute, online (video or messaging) therapy session. You are in control of ending the sessions, you will not automatically disconnect from your client after 45 minutes.

How do the sessions work?

+ You simply log in to your unique member portal, select the hours you are available to carry out sessions and are given access to a waiting room of clients.

+ You can see as many clients as you wish, at times that suit you, until the waiting room is empty.

+ When you have completed your sessions all the hours you have worked are logged in our system and you will be paid directly into your bank by Therapy Finders Ltd at the end of each week.

+ You will receive £35 of the £40 per session that we charge.

+ You have full autonomy as to when you log on for clients so sessions can fit easily into your free time.

+ You can reassure your client that no sessions are ever recorded.

** This service is not designed for people with deep rooted or long-term mental health issues.  If your client wishes to continue working with you then all future sessions can be arranged between you outside of the Therapy Finders portal.  You can also guide them in the direction of the Therapy Finders matching service if you think that this would be more appropriate for their situation and yours.
